McCann Healthcare rebrands as McCann Health

ASIA-PACIFIC – SINGAPORE, MAY 31, 2012:  To reflect its new health positioning in including health & wellness businesses, McCann Healthcare Worldwide rebrands to McCann Health.
 
With a global remit that stretches beyond its core, award winning pharmaceutical marketing work to also encompass health and wellness, McCann Health is now engaging with Governments and NGOs across the globe in Public Health, whilst its McCann HumanCare unit is expertly helping define the voice of the brand in direct-to-patient and consumer communications.
 
John Cahill, the company’s global chief executive says: “This change in name mirrors the growing diversity in the world of health. From our former focus primarily on the business of prescription healthcare, today we are also leaders in health and wellness. And from our centres of excellence in limited but key markets, now we have a multitude of experts in every major market around the world.”
 
With the name change to McCann Health, the branding will also be revised, reinforcing the link to McCann and ensuring that clients can see the multi-disciplinary expertise they can access through that link. This new consistency in identity also reflects the current business model of McCann Health – an agency where business teams are built based on client needs and not limited by geography.
