The newly invented automobile is designed with a patented boat roof system fit for recuing operations during floods, designed conveniently to be stored inside local government vehicles and barangay multi-cabs. The mission is also to teach students basic survival skills.

“The idea came about after "Habagat 2012" when we recognized that major flooding was becoming a regular event not only in the Philippines but all over the world. There was also a problem of delivery and storage of rescue boats during these times. We realized that the roofs of existing govt. vehicles could serve as storage and delivery of rescue boats. We also added wheels as part of the boat design after learning that rescuers wasted their energy carrying the boats. The wheels allow them to just push or pull the rescue boats and easily deploy them on the flooded streets."

“Our goal is to provide every single barangay with a rescue boy system via conversion of their existing vehicles or providing complete brand
new systems.” added Varick Ong.
