Nandy Villar is ABS-CBN CRM head

THE PHILIPPINES, MAY 25, 2012: It’s official. Philippine broadcasting giant ABS-CBN confirmed today that former McCann Worldgroup Philippines president and COO Nandy Villar will be leading the broadcaster’s Customer Relationship Management effective July 1 this year. His departure was announced last April but his position was then yet to be finalized.
 
Reporting to Carlo Katigbak, Head of Convergence, Villar will be tasked to establish the linkages between various ABS-CBN Divisions and craft CRM’s role in developing synergies across the group; provide the organization with the right information and processes necessary to find, attract, and win new clients, nurture and retain those the company already has, entice former clients back into the fold; and reduce the costs of marketing and client servicing. 
 
After 20 years of tenure, Villar leaves McCann on a high note as the agency has been involved in groundbreaking work for Coca-Cola, which is marking its centennial in the Philippines this year. The ‘OFW Project’ launched last year-end went viral around the world while the ‘Living Billboard’ initiative has been an award magnet. Last year, the local office was also named the network’s best performing agency in the region having met its creative, revenue and profit targets.
