Ogilvy’s Portfolio Night 8 To Gather Shanghai’s Top Creatives

Shanghai, 2010 – Ogilvy & Mather has signed on as a Global Agency Partner for ihaveanidea’s Portfolio Night 8 and will also host the Shanghai event on May 20, 2010. For the second year in a row, Ogilvy China will host the global event that will take place in mainland China. The previous Portfolio Night 7 took place in Beijing. 
 
Featuring a uniquely-designed portfolio review process in a "speed-dating" setting, ihaveanidea’s Portfolio Night is the largest on-going advertising portfolio review ever held in the world. The event reaches out to students, recent graduates and up-and-coming creatives globally to make their way into the ad industry and involves the top creative directors in each participating city.

In addition to hosting the Shanghai event, Ogilvy & Mather will also partner with ihaveanidea to bring Portfolio Night 8 to 23 of the 32 cities around the world hosting the event including Athens, Atlanta, Beirut, Buenos Aires, Cairo, Caracas, Dubai, Dublin, Frankfurt, Hong Kong, Jeddah, Kuwait, London, Manama, Melbourne, Mexico City, Mumbai, New York, San Francisco, Sao Paulo, Taipei and Tunis.
 
Additionally, creative directors from Ogilvy’s other operations (not hosting events) will be taking part in Portfolio Night events held in their respective cities. 
 
Cost to participate in the Shanghai event is US$12 or approximately RMB80. All aspiring creatives or juniors with an advertising portfolio must register and pay online at www.portfolionight.com.
