Victor Ng is new Executive Creative Director at DDB Shanghai

ASIA-PACIFIC – SHANGHAI, CHINA, FEBRUARY 15, 2011 – DDB Shanghai has appointed Victor Ng as Executive Creative Director (ECD). Effective immediately, Victor will report to Michael Dee, Chief Creative Officer of DDB China Group, and will be responsible for overseeing and shaping creative direction in the Shanghai office. 
 
Victor was previously Chief Creative Officer for Euro RSCG Singapore and Southeast Asia, where he was promoted from ECD in 2009. Victor began his career at Leo Burnett Singapore as a copywriter. In 2006, he became the first-ever creative from Asia to work at Mother London. 
 
Victor has had a highly decorated and accomplished career, having been awarded with several of the industry’s most prestigious awards. He was nominated as Creative Director of the Year by Campaign in 2009, notched a Creative Achievement Award at the 2009 New York Festivals, and was named one of Singapore’s Most Influential Creative Directors by the Singapore Institute of Advertising in 2009. 
 
Under his leadership, Euro RSCG Singapore was named Agency of the Year in Southeast Asia by Campaign in 2009. Victor has also achieved major successes at prominent international award shows and has judged at Cannes, D&AD, Clio, London International Awards, Spikes Asia, Asia Pacific Adfest and Singapore Creative Circle Awards.
