Dino Jalandoni heads north as ECD of Leo Burnett Taiwan

ASIA-PACIFIC – TAIPEI, TAIWAN, OCTOBER 6, 2011: Leo Burnett Taiwan announces the hire of Dino Jalandoni as executive creative director. 
 
Jalandoni joins Taiwan’s leading agency after a storied career in the Philippines, working across disciplines and on some of the biggest accounts in the market. 
 
He returns to the network after heading up creative in the Manila office between 1997 and 2007, working on accounts that included McDonald’s and Procter & Gamble. 
 
At McCann Erickson Philippines, Jalandoni led a multi-disciplinary team on some of the country’s biggest accounts, including San Miguel Beer and Coca-Cola brands. 
 
He left to establish boutique shop The Bleasurites in 2009. The start-up won a suite of accounts across a handful of market segments, including Nikon Cameras (technology), Manila Water (public utility) and NorthPine Land (real estate). 
 
Jalandoni re-joins Leo Burnett with a brief to handle the creative for brands including McDonald’s and Heineken. He will lead a team capable of working across all media, where digital is at the heart of the campaign. 
          
Margaret Huang, Managing Director of Leo Burnett Taiwan said Jalandoni’s appointment would help maintain high standards of creativity at a time as the agency grows rapidly.

Leo Burnett Taiwan was ranked third in R3’s New Business League for August 2011, after recent account wins including China Airlines and Pfizer.
