Fashion: Call of Duty®: Mobile – Garena collaborates with Don’t Blame The Kids

MANILA, PHILIPPINES — Call of Duty®: Mobile – Garena today announced a collaboration with Filipino street fashion brand, Don’t Blame The Kids Apparel Co. (DBTK), to delight local fans – known colloquially as the CODMmunity – with official Call of Duty®: Mobile apparel. The partnership sees the release of the DBTK | Call of Duty®: Mobile collection, which features the mobile game’s iconic style on a range of street-friendly fashion items such as t-shirts and hoodies. The collection will launch in the Philippines today at 10pm (GMT+8).

Nazrin Qayyum Azis, Call of Duty®: Mobile – Garena’s Producer for Singapore, Malaysia, and the Philippines, said: “We’re always on the prowl for new ways to surprise and delight the CODMmunity, so we’re excited to team up with fashion-forward DBTK to offer our fans fresh and stylish ways to express themselves sartorially. Additionally, Call of Duty®: Mobile – Garena and DBTK are set to work together with local influencers in the Philippines to provide more content and entertainment to the CODMmunity. The local influencers include Khenji Gaming, Marcelo Santos, Sharlene San Pedro, and Izzy Canillo, who make an appearance in promotional materials.

Call of Duty®: Mobile – Garena’s partnership with DBTK reflects the game’s commitment to delivering quality content tailored specifically to its players in the Philippines. This focus on localization has seen the mobile game’s first-person action experience become one of the most popular games in the nation since its launch in late 2019.
For example, on 13 and 14 March, 2021, Call of Duty®: Mobile – Garena was ranked 3rd overall in the Google Play Store rankings in the Philippines.
