After a series of projects for major Vietnamese brands, Unitel and Optima have taken the plunge and opened a permanent rep office in Vietnam. The office was launched Friday, Oct. 5, with a party at Dong Dao restaurant.
Vietnam’s large Filipino advertising community turned out en masse to show their support for Unitel/Optima, one of the Philippines’ leading production companies. Senior Optima team members Marilen Magsaysay and Stephen Sy had arrived days earlier to run short post-production workshops for local agencies.
More than two years in the planning, the Ho Chi Minh representative office is (wo)manned by Jesthela Lizardo for Optima and Odette Filio for Unitel.
