MANILA, PHILIPPINES — Xavier School San Juan has announced the highly anticipated Xavier Artfest 2024, a vibrant celebration of artistry, creativity, and innovation, scheduled to take place from January 26 to 28 at the Fr. Cortina Sports Center.
Established in 2015, Xavier Artfest has evolved into a cornerstone event, serving as a cultural extravaganza while supporting a noble cause. Initially conceived as a fundraiser for Xavier’s Educational Trust Fund, the event has expanded its philanthropic reach to include the “Para Kay Cher” program, aimed at assisting retired Xavier teachers with their medical bills. Over the years, Xavier Artfest has remained committed to promoting art appreciation while contributing to these worthy causes.
Xavier Artfest 2024 is set to bring together over 70 galleries, showcasing an eclectic fusion of modern and contemporary artworks from both the Philippines and international artists. This three-day extravaganza promises an immersive experience for art enthusiasts, collectors, and families alike.
Highlighting the diverse talent pool, a special section dedicated to up-and-coming artists will be featured, offering a platform for emerging visionaries to exhibit their exceptional creations, adding a fresh and dynamic perspective to the event.
An eagerly anticipated facet of Xavier Artfest 2024 is the live auction on January 27, hosted by the esteemed Salcedo Auctions. This auction will present a curated selection of exquisite artworks for art connoisseurs and collectors to bid on, promising an exhilarating atmosphere of spirited competition.
Notably, Xavier Artfest 2024 will embrace the evolving landscape of art by incorporating a selection of NFTs (Non-Fungible Tokens) into its showcase, reflecting the growing influence of digital art and technology in the contemporary art scene.
The Fr. Cortina Sports Center at Xavier School San Juan will be transformed into a bustling hub of creativity during the event, welcoming art enthusiasts and the public to indulge in this cultural celebration.
