AD Stars 2016 Agency of the Year, Colenso BBDO, collects five Grand Prix awards for Brewtroleum

BUSAN – Colenso BBDO finishes with an astounding win after reaping five of 12 Grand Prix awards at Ad Stars Festival in Busan, South Korea for ‘Brewtroleum,’ a campaign for DB Export, making them this year’s Agency of the Year.

The agency dominated the Outdoor, Integrated, Innovation, Promotion and Media categories.

‘Brewtroleum’ or beer biofuel is made from the yeast leftovers containing ethanol during the process of brewing beer. These leftovers are processed by scientists and mixed with petrol to create sustainable fuel.

The campaign also won three Golds for Outdoor, Media, and PR; three Silvers for Promotion, Media and Direct; and four Bronzes for Film, PR, Direct and Promotion categories.

Apart from ‘Brewtroleum’, Colenso BBDO also scored a Gold for ‘New World Little Kitchen’ under Branded Entertainment Videos. They also collected seven other Silvers and Bronzes for various campaigns across multiple categories.

This campaign recently won the Outdoor Grand Prix at the Cannes Lions International Festival of Creativity in France.
