MANILA, PHILIPPINES – Carousell, one of the world’s largest and fastest growing classifieds, is stepping up to help in the fight against COVID-19 by announcing the launch of “COVID-19 Free Ads for Charity”. This initiative will offer up to $1.4 million in an advertising support program for non-profit organisations helping the communities impacted by COVID-19.

This $1.4 million fund will focus on supporting any non-profit organisations in the Philippines, Malaysia, Hong Kong and Singapore and their efforts to replenish supply of food and essential health products, donations for upkeep cost, call for volunteers and other initiatives caring for families-at-risk and seniors in need.

“The COVID-19 pandemic is greatly impacting the lives of many in the region including the Philippines. We want to support Caritas Manila, a non-profit organisation that is playing a key role during the crisis, through access to our platform and users to get greater visibility and a larger reach.” said Raffy Montemayor, General Manager, Carousell Philippines.
