CANNES – Ogilvy Hong Kong’s work for KFC Hong Kong snagged a total of 12 shortlisted entries in Industry Craft Lions at the Cannes Lions International Festival of Creativity. The former British colony had a grand total of 18 shortlists, an impressive accomplishment as both Cheil Worldwide Hong Kong and Grey Hong Kong were also cited.
Eleven out of the 12 shortlisted entries from Thailand were earned by TBWA\Thailand for campaigns for McDonald’s. Prakit Advertising Bangkok was the lone non-TBWA\Thailand qualifier for ‘Genocide’ on behalf of Staedtler (Thailand) Limited.
For its part, China nabbed 10 shortlists.
