More finalists are revealed as Cannes Lions International Festival of Creativity releases the shortlists for the Design Lions, Film Craft Lions, Health & Wellness Lions, Pharma Lions and Print & Publishing Lions categories.
The Communication: Design Lions, which celebrate the best of visual craftsmanship, is led by Jury President Richard Ting, Global Global Chief Experience Officer & US Chief Creative Officer – R/GA. 153 entries have made the cut.
Dentsu Inc. Tokyo has earned 4 spots in the Communication: Design Lions category with its eccentric and stunning poster designs. One of the shortlisted entries is its “GET BACK, TOHOKU” campaign for EAST JAPAN RAILWAY COMPANY.
The Craft: Film Craft Lions this year is led by Jury President Rebecca Skinner, Managing Director/Executive Producer – Superprime Films. With 230 shortlisted entries, the category honors excellent onscreen execution and artistry in film.
Droga5 New York‘s powerful campaigns earned 17 spots in the Craft: Film Craft Lions category, with multiple coming in from its campaigns for The New York Times.
Jury President Shaheed Peera, Executive Creative Director – Publicis Lifebrands, is leading this year’s Health: Health & Wellness Lions category, celebrating creativity for personal wellbeing. Educating and engaging consumers on a very important topic, the jury hand-picked — entries that have shone the brightest in the category.
Under the Health track as well is the Pharma Lions, led by Jury President Robin Shapiro, Global President – TBWA\WorldHealth. The category celebrate creative communications from pharmaceutical clients and services and has a total of 31 finalists.
AREA 23, AN FCB HEALTH NETWORK COMPANY New York earned 8 spots in the Health: Pharma Lions category shortlist. Its “One Word” campaign contributed 4 spots.
Lastly, the Communication: Print & Publishing Lions celebrate excellent show of creativity in published media. Jury President Olivier Altmann, Co-founder, CEO & Chief Creative Officer – Altmann + Pacreau, led the jury to a total of 159 entries that have made the shortlist.
LOLA MULLENLOWE Madrid who is a strong contender in the Communication: Outdoor Lions released on June 15, also earns itself 9 spots in the Communication: Print & Publishing Lions category for its Burger King campaigns.
