Five Philippine finalists for the One Show, One Show Interactive and One Show Design awards

PHILIPPINES, APRIL 28, 2011 – Five entries from BBDO Guerrero, DM9 JaymeSyfu and TBWASantiago Mangada Puno have made it to the One Show, One Show Interactive and One Show Design shortlists.

BBDO Guerrero’s "Our Changing World" for FedEx, a collaboration with BBDO New York and Grow Interactive was shortlisted in the One Show Interactive’s Corporate Website category, while DDB JaymeSyfu’s "Opera" poster for Pharex is a finalist in the One Show under the Collateral category. 
 
TBWASantiago Mangada Puno has three One Show Design finalists from various campaigns, all under the Collateral category: the single poster "Confetti" for Makati Shangi-la, the "Creatures" poster campaign for Pacific Paint (Boysen), and the agency’s self-promotion "Christmas Card".
 
The One Show has 504 finalists, with Hong Kong and Singapore leading the Asian finalists at 14 and 11 shortlisted entries, respectively. There are 342 finalists for One Show Interactive, with Japan leading the Asian finalists, which include China, India, Hong Kong, Singapore, the Philippines and Thailand. One Show Design has 316 finalists. Of the Asian finalists, Japan enjoys a wide lead, while China India and Singapore boasts ten entries or more.

The One Show Festival is on May 9 to 13 at various venues in New York City. One Show Design winners will be announced on May 9, One Show on May 12, and One Show Interactive on May 13.
