Sponsored Text online display ads launched in Korea


ASIA-PACIFIC – SEOUL, KOREA, APRIL 28, 2011 – Yahoo! Korea , Interworks Media and ATIONnet have partnered to deliver ‘Sponsored Text’, a new display ad product that combines text and display advertising. The new ad product will be made available on a range of major ad networks in Korea. 
 
‘Sponsored Text’ delivers more effective advertising and maximizes the return on investment (ROI) for advertisers by exposing ad banners to all ad networks including major online portals and media websites such as Yahoo!Korea; Nate, the number 3 portal in Korea; and Korea’s 24-hour news channel YTN. Advertisers can also choose between CPP(Cost Per Period) or Static CPC(Static Cost Per Click) systems. 
 
Yahoo! Korea will be responsible for driving advertising sales and ad operations and work with Interworks Media to manage media network operations. ATIONnet will provide a technical solution for the ad network.
