MANILA, PHILIPPINES — Globe’s Kmmunity PH has gone beyond KPop to cover all aspects of the country’s Korean subculture, enabling more enjoyable connections with others who share the same passion. The multichannel community group is for all things Korean – films, dramas, food, beauty, fashion, merch, and, most especially, idols.
Globe is set to celebrate the third anniversary of the growing Globe KmmunityPH with a Kamsahamnida (Thank you) Festival specially prepared for K’tizens. The festival will be a two-day celebration on May 28 to 29.
Daebak surprises await K’tizens highlighted by the launch of a new Kmmunity commercial featuring Globe’s newest ambassador: Kim Seon Ho.
“The Globe KmmunityPH has grown significantly since it was launched three years ago and our two-day celebration is our way of saying Thank You – Kamsahamnida to our K’tizens. Totoong ‘K-ganda ng araw-araw with Kmmunity’—as our KmmunityPH tagline live up to this by launching Kim Seon Ho as our official ambassador!” said Globe Vice President for Marketing, Pia Gonzalez-Colby. “We want Filipinos to know that Globe is committed to supporting Filipinos’ passions. We recognize that K-culture isn’t just a pastime, but a passion that is powerful enough to connect us.”
Another highlight of the celebration is the launch of Globe’s new Globe One (G1) app where users will get a chance to win exclusive K-merch, join in karaoke activities and AR games, and use Rewards for special food and drink items at participating stores.
“Our Globe KmmunityPH will only get bigger and better,” said Colby. “It truly is the community that supports every aspect of your passion for hallyu.”
