O&M Shanghai appoints Managing Director

ASIA-PACIFIC – SHANGHAI, CHINA, JUNE 2011 – Ogilvy & Mather has announced the appointment of Yuan Yong as Managing Director of Ogilvy & Mather Advertising in Shanghai. A native of Shanghai, Yuan is a Harvard Business School graduate with more than 14 years of experience in marketing communications in mainland China. He joins Ogilvy from JWT Shanghai where he held roles as Director of Client Services and Group Account Director/Business Director for the past seven years.

Earlier he also worked at JWT Shanghai from 1997-2002 before taking on a Brand Manager position with Pepsico Beverages International in New York. His experience includes brand management and integrated communication assignments for a roster of domestic and multinational clients that includes HSBC, Nike, Inbev, Bosch, Konka, Anta, Lilang, 999 Pharmaceutical and Alibaba.
