Maersk appoints WPP Media as global partner

COPENHAGEN, DENMARK – WPP Media has been appointed as Maersk’s new strategic partner and will manage the company’s marketing activities in 130 countries from a central hub in Copenhagen.

The partnership marks an important step in the development of Maersk’s global marketing efforts and highlights WPPMedia’s ability to combine international reach with a deep understanding of local marketing needs. For Maersk, the collaboration signals a new chapter with a strong focus on agility, innovation, and data-driven efficiency.  

At the core of the partnership is WPP’s AI-driven platform, Open, and Open Media Studio (OMS) which, together with WPPMedia’s international network and expertise, will support Maersk’s strategic goals.

The platform provides Maersk with complete visibility and actionable insights, giving the company full control over its marketing investments. Together with WPPMedia, Maersk will further develop and optimize its global marketing approach.

The collaboration will officially begin this month.
