Lowe Profero opens a new hub in Bangkok

BANGKOK — Lowe Profero, the digital arm of Lowe and Partners, is significantly expanding its Southeast Asian footprint with the opening of a new office in Bangkok. The new office joins Singapore in the sub-region, part of a Lowe Profero Asia Pac network that includes three offices in mainland China plus Hong Kong, Seoul, Sydney and Tokyo.

The Lowe Profero Bangkok office launches with existing clients Danone Nutricia, Heineken, Mercedes-Benz, Tiger Beer and Unilever plus recent regional wins including iconic brands Vogue Eyewear and Ray-Ban.

The office will launch with a team of 25, headed up by Rob Hall, current General Manager of Lowe Open in Thailand. Rob Hall has a strong pedigree in digital leadership, and was previously Digital Director at Leo Burnett Thailand.

Rob Hall Lowe Profero’s Bangkok GM said the new office was a crucial strategic hub for the business in a rapidly growing region. “With a population of over 60 million, and one of the fastest growing economies in Southeast Asia, expanding the Lowe Profero network to Thailand offers us fantastic commercial opportunities,” he said. “The Lowe Profero approach of integrating creativity and technology to create client solutions is incredibly well suited to developing strong local digital services. I’m delighted to be able to have the opportunity to lead the brand to new heights in Thailand.”

Lowe Profero’s co-founder and global CEO Wayne Arnold said further expansion in Southeast Asia was well aligned to the agency’s local and global aspirations.

“We see this new office as a logical extension of our global strategy, complementing our already strong network in SEA and across the APAC region,” he said. “Thailand is an incredibly interesting place both economically and culturally, and I’m delighted to welcome such a talent as Rob to the Lowe Profero family as we expand our network across Asia and beyond.”

Lowe Thailand CEO Supavadee Tantiyanon welcomed the addition of Lowe Profero to the region.

“Consumers are online a great deal of the time no matter where they are physically. Having Lowe Profero adding to our portfolio will enhance our capabilities in digital to meet our clients integrated marketing needs,” she said.

The Lowe Profero launch in Bangkok adds to the existing Lowe and Partners Group offering in Thailand – including advertising agency Lowe Thailand and activation agency Lowe Open. The expansion of the Lowe and Partners portfolio in Thailand comes off the back of the appointment in February of business leader Supavadee Tantiyanon as its new CEO.
