4As Awards FCB Manila as Creative Agency of Ad Summit Pilipinas 2018

MANILA – The Association of Accredited Advertising Agencies of the Philippines (4As) recently announced FCB Manila as the agency that will handle the creative requirements of Ad Summit Pilipinas 2018 (ASP 2018).

“The jurors were quite impressed with the thinking behind FCB’s campaign. We are certain that the work will be instrumental in attracting delegates to what, we see, will be the biggest learning event next year for the country’s marketing communication industry,” said 4As Chairman Norman Agatep.

FCB Manila, which bested four others in the pitch, will be developing and executing creative materials for ASP 2018. Part of the selection committee were: Norman Agatep (Grupo Agatep), ASP 2018 Overall Chair; David Guerrero (BBDO) and Donald Lim (Dentsu Aegis), ASP Programs Committee Co-Chairs; Madonna Tarrayo (Straight Shooters), ASP Admin Committee; Raoul Panes (Leo Burnett Manila), ASP 2014 Creative Committee Chair; and Russel Molina (Seven Ad), ASP 2016 Creative Committee Chair.

Of this, FCB Client Services Director Lou Santos said, “We humbly accept this creative endeavor, and we are very eager to work with the 4As on this milestone event and for the industry.”

Organized by 4As, Ad Summit Pilipinas is the biggest advertising and marketing convention in the country that aims to inspire practitioners to progress fearlessly and to seize expanding opportunities to discover the next big thing in marketing communications.

Now on its third run, Ad Summit Pilipinas 2018 is slated to happen in March next year. Its first (2014) and second (2016) run—aptly themed “Age of Enlightenment” and “Come out and Play” respectively—were held in Subic Bay Metropolitan Authority.

The 4As is set to launch the theme and more details on ASP 2018 this coming July.
