Is it ever too late for a second chance?  The movie asks.  Premiered in three cinemas last October 3, “A Journey Home” provides the answer through a tapestry of interwoven lives.  The movie opens in theatres October 20.

Abracadabra Productions in partnership with Jubilee Evangelical Church-Youth for Christ present a film whose characters are wounded by guilt, hurting, seeking forgiveness and desperate for some future solace.  Produced by Abracadabra’s Mari Buencamino and Ross Misa, megged by Paul Soriano, making his directorial debut, with screenplay written by Clarissa Estuar and Jewel Castro, the film includes a number of advertising and production personalities, including Jessie Lasaten as music director.

Although this is Soriano’s first full-length feature film, he has directed a number of TVCs and music videos, as well as an ABS-CBN Summer Station ID.  Soriano trained under “Crash” director Paul Haggis.

Produced to commemorate Jubilee Evangelical Church’s 10th anniversary, “A Journey Home” brings to light filial feelings among family relationships, and realizing what we hold dear in life.
