MANILA, PHILIPPINES — Say hello to the Chicken King — Burger King Philippine’s latest addition to its menu. The burger chain celebrated the much-awaited arrival of the newest chicken sandwich player in town last August 12.

“All our guests, who are the real kings, deserve to be treated like royalty which is why we went all out with perfecting the Chicken King to suit the Filipino’s taste buds, allowing them to indulge and satisfy their kingly cravings with bold flavors coupled with bolder portions,” said Burger King’s Country General Manager John Velasco.

Chicken King boasts of its buttery potato buns which sandwich the golden chicken thigh for a melt-in-your-mouth sensation.

“The chicken thigh is really what takes center stage in this in this meal. So it’s golden crispy, it’s juicy, meaty,” added Karole Santos, Brand Manager of Burger King, noting the balance of the flavors and the fresh ingredients they are known for.

She added how by being relevant and doing what they do best, Burger King remains in the lead in a competitive industry.

“We have all guns blazing, I would say, and you can only expect bigger, better, and bolder things from Burger King,” she shared.

The Chicken King was greeted with warm reception in the country. Prior to the launch, it sold out in two weeks after initially made available in stores on July 26.

Chicken King is currently available in all Mega Manila, Pampanga, Rizal, Cavite, Laguna, and Bulacan BK restaurants.
