MANILA, PHILIPPINES – R3 Worldwide has released the Top 10 Creative and Media agencies in the Philippines based on new business wins in Q1 of 2020. The report offers a look into the competitive landscape within the local industry, and the top accounts bringing in the most for these agencies.
The biggest win in the country this quarter, is not a local agency. BBH dominated the report with the global creative mandate for Jollibee, winning one of the country’s biggest fast food chains back in January. Following this massive win is Mullenlowe Group, which has earned four out of the ten spots in the report with its wins for the Department of Tourism, the Philippine International Convention Center, Shakey’s and Restylane in January.
BBDO won two spots for its partnership with the Frabelle Project and the Department of Trade and Industry. Other notable wins are VMLY&R for the global account Intel, Wunderman Thompson for HSBC’s global creative, and DDB for the Pag-IBIG Fund in the Philippines.
PHD, OMD and Initiative dominate the media industry this quarter, with three major wins each – PHD scored the global media account for Diageo, and the local responsibilities for Dole and Stada; OMD bagged the Philippine mandate for UnionBank, Nature C Berries, and Beep Card; while Initiative bagged the accounts Evyap, Frabelle-Johnsonville and Destileria Limtuaco-Maria Clara Sangria.
