The Gunn Report and Leo Burnett play bookies with Cannes Lions lists

GLOBAL – JUNE 2011 – It is that time of the year again–time to peer into the crystal ball and choose your top contenders in the Cannes Lions film category. The Gunn Report and Leo Burnett make the task easier with their separate listings of the winnable TV commercials based on the industry’s output in the past year.
 
For The Gunn Reports’ Cannes Lions Sweepstakes, view the 20 films deemed the strongest contenders and vote at www.gunnreport.com/cannes-lions-sweepstakes/make-a-prediction. prediction for No Lion or Bronze Lion wins 20 points, Silver Lion 30 points, Gold Lion 50 points and the Cannes 2011 Film Grand Prix winner (if on the reel) 100 points.
 
After casting your votes, just type in your name, company name and e-mail and press the “Submit” button.  Deadline for this is Wednesday, June 22, 12 midnight GMT. Prizes and winners will be announced on gunnreport.com a week after Cannes.
 
The annual Cannes Predictions of Leo Burnett is chosen from the best campaigns and commercials of the top advertising award shows each year. This reel has never failed to identify the winners of the Grand Prix and highlighting the new works of the global marketing industry.
 
The contenders were narrowed down to 40 selections of different product categories and media channels from 14 different countries  by the Leo Burnett Worldwide researchers.
