MANILA, PHILIPPINES – YouTube has changed the landscape for storytelling in multiple forms, paving way for innovative videos that truly engage and add value to the viewers’ watching experiences. Year 2 of Youtube Ads Awards comes back with the most vibrant celebration of storied ads told in a variety of genres and forms, from every season. For this year, McCann Worldwide Philippines’ Chief Creative Officer Joe Dy will be returning and stepping in as the Jury President for the prestigious awards.
“I’m thrilled to return as a judge for the second YouTube Ads Awards. It’s always an enriching experience to see how creative agencies and brands push forward to showcase excellence in digital advertising,” shares Dy.
As one of the most awarded creatives in the local advertising industry, Dy recently came home from judging for the Radio and Audio Lions Jury at the Cannes Lions in France. He is also part of McCann’s Asia-Pacific Creative Council, and was recently inducted into the Philippine Creative Guild Hall of Fame. He was also listed among Campaign Brief’s Top 20 Creative Leaders in Asia.
From last year’s half a dozen judges, the jury board has grown into a diverse pool of 11 led by Joe Dy. The jury gathers the most well-known and celebrated leaders in the creative, media and entertainment industry – from advertising greats to digital stars that eat and breathe the best of online content.
The YouTube Ads Awards will be held at Whitespace Manila this coming September 25, 2019.
