DDB Philippines Changes Hands

< height="189" align="left" width="125" src=" DDB Rawlings. " alt="" />DDB Philippines formed its new board of directors and management team in a stock holders meeting held on July 23. This follows the mutually agreed upon purchase of the de Joya family shares by the company’s local management on July 10. The new board is chaired by Peter Rawlings, chief operating officer of DDB in Asia, with Gil Chua sharing leadership as president and chief executive officer.

The move puts the management of DDB Philippines under close guidance by DDB Asia Pacific Headquarters. This is in line with DDB’s objective to strengthen its network influence and support to markets where growth momentum is seen across advertising, digital, CRM and PR/Activation disciplines.

Peter Rawlings, an industry veteran of 20 years, has handled a variety of management roles around the world, notably in this region where for seven years he was Leo Burnett’s Regional Finance Director. Rawlings now reports to John Zeigler, president  & CEO, DDB Asia Pacific and Japan.< height="196" align="right" width="132" src=" DDB Chua. " alt="" />
