Unilever appoints R/GA as global digital AOR for Rexona

GLOBAL – NEW YORK, FEBRUARY 23, 2012: Multinational goods company Unilever has tapped R/GA as the global digital agency of record for its deodorant brand, Rexona.
 
The agency’s responsibilities include the comprehensive digital strategy across Rexona’s global portfolio including Degree, Rexona and Sure.  R/GA will also be working with Unilever’s other leading consumer brands including Impulse.
 
“We see digital as critical to maintaining the on-going success of the Rexona brand. So it was very important that we partnered with the right people when it came to devising our global digital communications strategy for 2012, and beyond.” said Rexona global director Mariano Sampietro

R/GA will leverage its diverse international footprint to deliver digital campaigns and long-term digital platforms, which will serve to strengthen the connections between the brands and their consumers. The agency will activate multi-disciplinary teams in New York, San Francisco, London, Singapore and São Paulo, all collaborating and contributing to a wide-range of duties.
