Campaign Spotlight: Bingo Like A Boss, Antidote debuts Gala Bingo’s sassy campaign directed by duo Fatal Farm

LONDON – The brand new integrated campaign for Gala Bingo launches today with the first of four television spots. Each features Gloria, a sassy 21st century heroine, who nonchalantly plays Gala Bingo whilst living her life in an outrageously ‘boss-like’ manner.

The idea was inspired by the seamless, entertaining nature of the Gala Bingo gameplay that lets you Bingo Like A Boss. In the first spot ‘Toe Jam’ Gloria is seen waiting for her numbers to roll in whilst effortlessly shredding an 80s soft rock guitar solo – using her feet.

Supporting Gloria’s TV escapades is a Brand Digital campaign and sponsorship of both The Chase and the legendary Australian soaps, Neighbours and Home and Away, on Channel 5. Again, Gloria is the bingo baller who ‘plays and slays’ both at home and down under.

The commercials and digital content were directed by Los Angeles based comedy director duo Fatal Farm.

Alison Digges, Managing Director, Gala Bingo said: “We always wanted to mix up the category and with Gloria’s help this truly integrated campaign certainly does that.”

Tim Ashton, ECD of Antidote said: “It’s not every day you get the opportunity to create such gloriously boss-like entertainment. We’re looking forward to letting Gloria loose on the bingo playing world.”

The first of four Bingo Like A Boss spots breaks today with the rest of the series launching later this year.
