CANNES, FRANCE – On the fifth day of the 2025 Cannes Lions International Festival of Creativity, Ogilvy Singapore‘s “Vaseline Verified” campaign takes home a Titanium Lion. The campaign, which verifies viral hacks using Vaseline in a laboratory and teams up with influencers to verify them with a stamp of approval from the brand also scored the Grand Prix in the Social & Creator and Health and Wellness categories.
Japan wins Gold in the Glass Lions category for “Heralbony”, a venture by twin brothers Takaya and Fumito Matsuda to uplift the creativity of neurodivergent artists by licensing their work to be used on projects such as interior design and product packaging. The focus is not providing charity, but sustainability and consistency for neurodivergent creatives. Dentsu Inc. Tokyo participated as part of the production for the campaign.
“Let There Be Cake” for KFC Thailand wins Gold in the Film category. The film is a joint venture between Bananas Johannesburg and Brains & Brawn Bangkok to celebrate KFC Thailand’s 40th year of operation in a surreal, high energy spectacle filled with cake.
Philippines wins Bronze in the Film category with Gigil Philippines‘ Miracle for RC Cola and Steal for Mandaue Foam Home Store. Miracle is a parody of Ishmael Bernal’s film Himala, which was recently reimagined as a musical in Isang Himala except a bottle of RC Cola is the source of the miracles. Steal is a heist gone wrong with Mandaue Foam’s line of wares seemingly spawning endlessly despite the efforts of some determined thieves trying to steal them
