Cannes Lions 2017: Blink Productions, 4Creative, and Channel 4 from the UK wins Film Lions Grand Prix with Paralympics ‘Superhumans’ ad

CANNES — ‘We’re the Superhumans’ by Blink Productions and 4Creative from London made a breakthrough by winning Film Grand Prix with their short film for Channel 4 for its Rio Paralympics 2016 coverage. 

Blink Productions, 4Creative, and Channel 4 could have gone for the usual serious, inspiring, and sympathy-gaining approach to their Paralympics ad. Instead, they celebrated the “Superhumans” and the feats that Paralympians can achieve and along with them, musicians, workers, employees, entertainers who are all persons-with-disabilities. The campaign finally achieved Grand Prix after gaining a runner-up Gold Lion in the Film Craft Lions. Watch the ad below:
