MANILA, PHILIPPINES – In a landmark reaffirmation of their shared mission, the Bonifacio Art Foundation, Inc. (BAFI) and Uratex have renewed their partnership for another ten years, signaling a continued commitment to championing the arts and sciences for Filipinos of all ages. As one of the founding partners of The Mind Museum, Uratex has long been integral to inspiring generations to explore, discover and imagine.
This renewed collaboration is more than a contractual extension – it is the deepening of a relationship anchored in shared purpose, innovation and the belief that science math, and the arts are powerful catalysts for shaping the future.

Uratex President and CEO Natividad Cheng affirmed the new strong potential of this partnership saying “We, in Uratex, want to be able to reach as many Filipino communities as possible through the innovations that we do to improve Filipino lives. Since BAFI has music, math and science programs and projects that are so engaging, and reaching out across our country as well, this made us really think it was a natural alliance.”
BAFI Managing Director/Curator Maria Isabel Garcia expressed gratitude for the renewed partnership, expressing that “Uratex does not only support in terms of resources as a partner, they remain genuinely interested in what innovations we are doing in learning across the sciences and the arts. Their team always wants to figure out with us how they can make things better. That is a dream partner you want for a mission like this.”

As part of the renewed agreement, Uratex will maintain naming rights to some of The Mind Museum’s most iconic installations: the Space Shell Planetarium, the Giant Orrery and Dressed for Space. The company will also lend its name to a forthcoming math-themed exhibit at the museum’s Technology Gallery.
Looking beyond the museum’s walls, the partnership extends to a series of nationwide initiatives. Uratex will be a Supporting Partner of a groundbreaking traveling exhibition designed by BAFI, which will weave together stories of human collaboration, environmental stewardship, and the power of shared knowledge in building resilient communities across Luzon, Visayas and Mindanao.

Uratex will also co-sponsor four Mind Rover sorties in Visayas and Mindanao, bringing hands-on science experiences to underserved public school students. Each sortie has the potential to reach up to 1,000 young beneficiaries, nurturing curiosity and scientific engagement where resources are scarce.
Rounding out the partnership’s reach into culture and the arts, Uratex will be a Supporting Partner for the Pinoy Playlist Music Festival 2025 – a celebration of Filipino musical artistry across genres and generations, featuring live performances, cross-genre collaborations, expert talks, and artisan showcases.

Together, BAFI and Uratex are setting the stage for a future where wonder is sparked, learning is championed, and communities are meaningfully connected. In doing so, they affirm that curiosity, when nurtured, can transform lives and shape a nation’s creative and scientific potential.
