Kidlat Awards gives new metals this year

MANILA, FEBRUARY 11, 2013 – This year, Kidlat Awards will go beyond recognizing the creative department. It takes more than a copywriter and an art director to come up with a brilliant piece of work. After all, the hunger for great ideas is not exclusive to the Creative Department. At this year’s Kidlat show, the Creative Guild will be honoring the rest of the village responsible for championing creativity with these new awards:

KIDLAT AWARDS’ CREATIVE CLIENT OF THE YEAR
Unilever VS P&G. Jollibee VS McDonald’s. Smart VS Globe. Pepsi VS Coke. Corporations take their rivalries to a new stage as the country’s most innovative brands and advertisers vie for the title of most creative client. These are the clients who respect the value of creativity in getting their message across. This award aims to recognize the company and the marketing team with the best body of work at this year’s Kidlat awards.

KIDLAT AWARDS’ CREATIVE ACCOUNT EXECUTIVE OF THE YEAR
Here’s to the people who work hard to sell the most innovative, scariest and freshest ideas. These are the suits that are most excited about cutting edge output, and sincerely believe that the best creative work gets the best results.  This award will be given to the account executive responsible for the most winners at this year’s Kidlat Awards.

KIDLAT AWARDS’ CREATIVE PLANNER OF THE YEAR
Some of the best work comes from the most stimulating briefs. This year, the Kidlat Awards will be paying tribute to the insightful minds behind the strategic thinking that gets creative juices flowing. The Creative Planner of the Year will be selected based on the number of metal-winning ads he or she inspired.

KIDLAT AWARDS’ TOP CREATIVE PRODUCER
Great work doesn’t happen by itself. It takes a producer adept at getting the best out of everyone involved and finding creative solutions to push the teams forward, all in the interest of making the idea reach its full potential. This award will be given to the producer who helped make the most number of Kidlat winners happen, regardless of medium.

KIDLAT AWARDS’ PRODUCTION PARTNER OF THE YEAR
Even the most precious creative idea isn’t worth the napkin it’s sketched on if it isn’t brought to life properly. And it takes herculean effort, spot-on production and meticulous crafting to do that. This award will be given to the Production Company who helped create the most number of metal-winning ads at the Kidlat Awards, regardless of medium.

So make sure you spell their names rights on the Kidlat Award entry forms. After all, there’s a pretty good chance you wouldn’t be filling those in without them. Visit the Kidlat Awards site and Facebook page for more details. Deadline for submissions is February 15, 2013.
