Cannes Lions names Euro RSCG Malaysia ECD as outdoor jury

ASIA-PACIFIC – KUALA LUMPUR, MALAYSIA, MAY 23, 2012: Euro RSCG Malaysia executive creative director Ng Heok Seong has been chosen as a judge on this year’s Cannes Lions Festival. Seong will serve as a Cannes Lions juror on the Outdoor Lions category.
 
This announcement follows a highly successful year Seong at Euro RSCG Kuala Lumpur, in which he was instrumental in the AmBank, Peugeot, OldTown White Coffee and Carlsberg business wins.  
 
Prior to these judging appointments, Seong has served on the jury of  Adfest 2008 and 2011 as well as numerous Kancil Awards. He also sits on the 4as Creative Council.
 
 “Seong has been a great addition to our team last year and I’m really happy to see his creative excellence being recognized at one of the most prestigious advertising festivals”, said Andrew Lee, Managing Director, Euro RSCG Kuala Lumpur.
 
Commenting on his appointment, Seong added: “Cannes Lions is the festival celebrating creative distinction in our industry. It’s a real honor to be part of the festival and I look forward to working with my fellow jurors to reward those who have created outstanding work this year”.
 
The International Festival of Creativity, also known as Cannes Lions, is the world’s leading celebration of creativity in communications. Founded in 1954, the Festival takes place every June in Cannes, France.
