TBWA TEQUILA depicts Chinese folklore for GE campaign

ASIA-PACIFIC – SHANGHAI, CHINA, DECEMBER 2011: TBWA\TEQUILA\ recently released additional online films for General Electric’s (GE) “Future Folklore” digital campaign on December 21, 2011. 

The new films are “Fireflies” and “Water” while “Borrowing Wind” was launched in October.  The films tell the story of different Chinese folklore on how man worked with nature to create technological innovations. 
 
The campaign invites individuals and business organizations to develop the Chinese folklore through innovation and technology for their products. Also, the campaign aims to address the grave environmental issues faced by China. 
 
This campaign empowers consumers to join the movements socially, arming them with articles, videos, and news that they can readily share with friends to help create awareness of the technologies and stories that will shape the future.
 
Ecomagination and Healthymagination are the two key communication platforms of GE’s solutions. Through their campaign, they aim to build awareness on their solutions through social media. The three short films are as follows:
