Brand Learning welcomes new Chairman

LONDON – October 8, 2013 – Former Unilever CEO and Reuters Chairman Niall Fitzgerald, KBE, has been named non-executive Chairman of marketing and brand consultancy Brand Learning.

Fitzgerald served as Chairman and CEO of Unilever from 1996 to 2004, and Chairman of Reuters until 2011. He led Unilever through transformation and renewal and currently chairs the British Museum, the Leverhulme Trust and Munster Rugby club among his wide portfolio of consultancy and business interests.

Fitzgerald has always been passionate about the role of marketing and brands in driving business growth and is a tireless advocate of the contribution of outstanding people in driving shareholder value.

His international business experience is expected to boost the firm as they expand beyond their London and New York bases to open their Asia Pacific hub in Singapore.
