Steve Clay joins Grey Group Singapore

ASIA-PACIFIC – SINGAPORE, MAY 12, 2011 – Grey Group Singapore strengthens its creative offering with the appointment of Steve Clay, an industry veteran of 17 years as its regional creative director. 
 
Clay will take responsibility for creative duties for Glaxo Smith Kline’s Panadol and Allianz Insurance across Asia Pacific and report to Ali Shabaz, Chief Creative Officer, Grey Group, Singapore, Indonesia and Thailand.
 
Hailing from Canada, Clay has spent a major part of his career in the Asian continent working for various multi-national agencies across the Asia Pacific, including Hong Kong, Malaysia, Philippines, Singapore and Sri Lanka.
 
He has taken the creative helm of numerous integrated campaigns across multiple industries on regional and global levels for big brands such as Accenture, Bayer, Cadbury, Carlsberg, Chevron, Hewlett-Packard, HSBC, Johnson & Johnson, L’Oreal, Maybank, Nestle, Philips, Sara Lee, Sharp, Sri Lankan Airlines, Unilever, Vodafone and Western Union.
 
Several of his works has been recognized at prestigious local, regional and international creative award shows, such as D&AD, Cannes, One Show, One Show Design, CLIO, London International Awards, New York Festivals, Communication Arts, John Caples, Spikes and AdFest.

There are few people who can be creative and manage creative,” said Ali Shabaz. “We are excited to have found the right mix in Steve.
