Samsung and Leo Burnett Vietnam to reward promising start-ups through GOLIVE! Vietnam Venture Cup

HO CHI MINH – With the goal to reward promising start-up ventures in one of the most exciting start-up hubs in Southeast Asia according to foreign venture capital funds, Samsung and Leo Burnett Vietnam launched the inaugural GOLIVE! Vietnam Venture Cup.

The competition, an initiative together with leading partners including IDG Ventures, YMG Entertainment and Media Group, Forbes Vietnam, LaunchPad and Topica EdTech Group, follows the launch of the ‘Success with an attitude’ campaign for the Galaxy Note 5, the main competition sponsor, earlier in August.

GOLIVE! Vietnam Venture Cup has four phases starting with the recruitment followed by submission of entries and the announcement of the top 40 finalists. The 40 teams will be participating in the coaching process, the fourth and last phase before the culminating event and announcement of winners on December 22nd.

The winning team, to be chosen by the Venture Cup jury composed of Linh Thai, CEO of Stitch Appeal, Pham Hop Pho, CEO of IDG Ventures Vietnam, TS Pham Minh Tuan, CEO of Topica Edtech Group and Nhan The Luan, CEO of NCT Corporation, will be granted with a $15,000 funding to launch their own start-up company.
