People: Manny Gonzales heads Ogilvy Philippines’ consulting network, as the demand for consult services grows

MANILA, PHILIPPINES — Consulting is going to be a new key agency offering for the Ogilvy Philippines, thanks to the recent appointment of Manny Gonzales as consulting head.

“Harnessing the power of our core areas of expertise — brand, influence, customer experience, data, and technology — our Consulting practice is focused on helping clients transform their businesses to drive growth. Our mission is to help clients navigate some of the complex transformation questions to future-proof their business performance,” said Group CEO Elly Puyat.

“We find that through the past few months, the demand for our consult has been around helping our clients migrate to models that will allow them to thrive given the challenges of our current environment so that they are better poised for recovery,” Puyat added.

The Ogilvy Consulting network supports businesses across different industries by offering guidance in four key areas: Growth and Innovation (growth strategy, new business models, capability transformation); Business Design (brand strategy, marketing strategy, CX design strategy); Digital Transformation (digital transformation consulting, digital experience, digital innovation); and Specialty Services (behavioral science, future casting).

Concurrently a strategy director with the Ogilvy Group, Gonzales lends his 16 years of experience as a marketing communications veteran to “Making Brands Matter” through engagement, data, influence, and experience design strategy developed for some of the leading Philippine-based corporations and challenger brands.

Gonzales is also currently the program track hair and subject matter expert for the Digital Marketing Fundamentals Program at the Certified Digital Marketer (CDM), the Philippines’ leading provider of digital marketing training and transformation solutions.

As part-time faculty at the Ateneo de Manila University (School of Marketing, and School of Communication) and the University of Asia & the Pacific (School of Communication), he teaches Digital Marketing and Human Insight, respectively.

He is also an active member of the Digital Measurement Board of the Philippines, under IMMAP (Internet and Mobile Marketing Association of the Philippines).
