CLARK, PHILIPPINES — Starting March 1, Clark International Airport (CRK) passengers can enjoy a seamless travel experience with the opening of the City Check-in Facility at SM City Clark. This newly introduced service allows travelers to check in for their flights before even setting foot at the airport, giving them more time to relax and explore the mall’s extensive retail, dining, and entertainment options.

“This initiative is part of our commitment to enhancing the passenger experience at Clark International Airport,” said Noel Manankil, Chief Executive Officer of Luzon International Premier Airport Development (LIPAD). He adds “Travelers can take advantage of the mall’s dining, shopping, and leisure options before their flight, including picking up last-minute pasalubong.”

Designed with the modern traveler in mind, the facility features a comfortable waiting area, a baggage repacking station with a weighing scale, and secure baggage storage. Now, passengers can conveniently drop off their luggage and enjoy SM City Clark’s offerings without the hassle of carrying their bags around.

The Clark Loop bus rapid transit system, along with blue taxis and Grab services, ensures a smooth ride to the airport. Additionally, point-to-point (P2P) buses operated by Genesis Transport provide direct routes from Ninoy Aquino International Airport (NAIA) and Trinoma in Quezon City to SM City Clark.

“This partnership demonstrates SM Supermalls’ commitment to supporting local communities and the travel industry. By providing this valuable service, we’re not only improving the passenger experience but also contributing to the growth and development of Clark,” said SM Supermalls President Steven Tan.

The City Check-In Facility is a result of a Memorandum of Understanding signed by key players in the aviation and tourism industries, including the Bases Conversion and Development Authority (BCDA), Department of Tourism-Region 3 (DOT-3), Clark Development Corporation (CDC), CIAC, SM Supermalls, Plaza Premium Lounge CRK Inc., and LIPAD, the operator of CRK.
