This week’s ads bring you Women’s month celebrations, an ode to the most delicious love language, and a call to ‘Live More Today’

MANILA, PHILIPPINES — The creative industry is brimming with tons of amazing ideas, so it’s no surprise that there’s never a shortage of great campaigns to admire and celebrate.

From gripping stories and new perspectives that embody what a brand stands for to new fun ways people can engage with a brand, here are campaigns that caught adobo Magazine’s eye this week:

Live More Today with the magic of technology

In this powerful new campaign, Smart appeals to everyone’s desire to be in the moment and relish the present. After all, after the last three years that have taught us tomorrow can bring anything, isn’t it wise to Live More Today? In Smart’s new spot, Filipinos can do that by always being connected and present in the moment via technology, from friends capturing time spent together with photos to a couple sharing their pregnancy with family who are away from them.

An ode to the universal love language: food

There are so many ways to show your love, but there’s one love language that resonates with everyone — food. So, for CDO Express’ new campaign, Seven A.D. highlighted the many ways that Filipinos express their adoration for the important people in their lives through this act of sustenance, bonding, and affection. A snack a loved one packed in your bag for an active day out, a hearty breakfast made for you to start your day with, a sincere apology in the form of a heart-shaped treat, a delicious meal shared with your family — no matter how you put it, food brings about the warmth and love we feel for the people around us.

Save yourself the trouble with online accounting

Norwegian accounting software provider Tripletex has launched a cheeky spot conceptualized by Anorak and produced by Bacon to remind you why accounting is better done online. With a montage of humorous office issues and blunders set in a dull workplace, from insanely overcrowded shared bathrooms to the irritating electric desks that turn everything into a slowly unraveling chaos, the spot shows why it’s better for everyone when you turn to Tripletex for your accounting needs.

Celebrating Southeast Asian SHEroes for this year’s Women’s Month

Hershey’s is kicking off International Women’s Month with its award-winning #HerSHE campaign, which features a unique packaging design celebrating the achievements of brilliant women across the globe. This year, it’s coming to Southeast Asia as well, launching in the Philippines, Thailand, Singapore, and Malaysia as it puts a spotlight on “SHEroes” like Philippines’ Meggie Ochoa, Fight to Protect founder and SEA Games gold medalist in Jiu-Jitsu, and Malaysia’s Nor Fadilah Mohamed Niza, the founder of social enterprise Johor Empowerment of Intellectual Women Association.

Love Bonito reminds us that femininity is power

With month-long activations that highlight the power within womanhood, Love, Bonito invites its community to be #FeminineAndProud. This campaign will highlight what it means to be an empowered woman and give the stage to notable Asian women who have broken the barriers in the fields of feminine health and wellness and women’s rights. Inspiring stories will also be found in Love Bonito’s live gallery of user-generated content shared via social media with the hashtag #FeminineAndProud.
