Lee Smith to lead Omnicom Group’s Annalect

ASIA-PACIFIC, SEPTEMBER 21, 2012 – Omnicom Media Group has appointed Lee Smith as the Asia Pacific president for its data-driven marketing division, Annalect, in addition to his current role as Digital Platforms lead for Omnicom in the region.

 
Omnicom AP CEO Barry Cupples said, “Lee has driven our digital product to new levels in the region with tremendous growth for our search, display, social and mobile offerings in APAC. His extensive experience in the area of data and analytics makes him a natural choice for the Annalect leadership role.”
 
Annalect group CEO Scott Hagedorn lauds Lee for having the “data, digital and analytics depth to make Annalect really happen in Asia”.
 
Omnicom Media Group launched Annalect in October 2010 to align and leverage consumer and media data from its $2-billion digital investments in order to deliver a higher level of consumer insight and increase the efficiency and impact of client media investments.
