MANILA, PHILIPPINES — Mober, the country’s pioneering electric vehicle (EV) logistics provider, has unveiled its latest innovation: Central Charge, a 3,000-square-meter hub poised to redefine how businesses move sustainably in the Philippines.
Tucked along the D. Macapagal Avenue in Pasay City, Central Charge is the heartbeat of Mober’s rapidly growing EV fleet. With a 56-port capacity and the ability to supercharge up to 200 e-trucks daily, this hub is a direct response to the evolving pulse of urban logistics.

Unlike typical public EV stations, Central Charge is specifically designed to meet the unique demands of logistics operations. Equipped with 50 7kW DC chargers and two 60kWh fast-charging units, Central Charge enables Mober to streamline operations and minimize vehicle downtime.
Central Charge is strategically located near Metro Manila’s key commercial areas to ensure seamless mid- and last-mile delivery for clients such as IKEA, Nestlé Philippines, and Maersk.

Mober Founder and CEO Dennis Ng emphasized the importance of the launch of Central Charge in furthering the country’s efforts towards green mobility.
“We are proud to launch the biggest commercial EV charging hub in the Philippines in Pasay City. At Mober, we’ve been committed to finding solutions to infrastructure challenges since our transition to EVs in 2021. Central Charge demonstrates our vision to pave the way for a cleaner, more efficient future for our clients and solidify the Philippines’ place at the forefront of sustainable logistics in Southeast Asia,” Ng said.
The expansion comes after Mober inaugurated its first charging hub in Zamora Street, Pasay City, in 2023. Its initial hub spanned 800 square meters and had 30 charging units.

To further its sustainability goals, Mober is exploring the addition of solar photovoltaic (PV) panels and a 500 kWh battery energy storage system (BESS) at Central Charge. Once implemented, these upgrades will significantly reduce Mober’s carbon footprint, aligning with the company’s long-term vision. These upgrades, along with the hub itself, will be crucial in supporting Mober’s ambitious expansion plans, which include scaling its fleet to over 500 EVs by 2026.
“Central Charge is not just an infrastructure investment, but it’s a strategic step to meet the growing demand for eco-friendly delivery solutions while maintaining our zero-emission commitment,” Ng added.
All these moves align seamlessly with the Electric Vehicles and Charging Systems (EVIDA) Act, amplifying the Philippines’ call for cleaner mobility and greener cities.
