SINGAPORE – In a fusion of K-pop stardom and cityscape storytelling, the Singapore Tourism Board (STB) and BIGHIT MUSIC have joined forces for an extraordinary visual journey: the official music video for “Don’t Say You Love Me” the lead single from BTS member Jin’s newly released solo album Echo.
Launched on May 16 via HYBE LABELS’ YouTube channel, the music video doesn’t just deliver the emotional gravitas fans have come to expect from Jin; it also doubles as a cinematic love letter to Singapore.
As the only official video for the main track, this music video is set against the unique cityscape of Singapore. Shot against the vibrant backdrop of the Lion City, the video stitches together iconic landmarks like the National Gallery Singapore, Gardens by the Bay, and the Singapore Flyer, with unexpected neighborhood gems like Keng Eng Kee Seafood and Goldhill Plaza. The result is a soulful visual diary that feels both deeply personal and proudly local.
An official from BIGHIT MUSIC said, “The collaboration with the Singapore Tourism Board beautifully brought together the charm of the local scenery and the message Jin hopes to share through his music. We hope that many will enjoy Jin’s new album and the music video for the main track.”
Serene Tan, Executive Director, North Asia, Singapore Tourism Board said, “This collaboration was a unique opportunity to showcase Singapore’s culture, nature, and architecture through a charming blend with Jin’s music. We hope that people around the world will come to see and experience Singapore from a new perspective through the music video.”
