MUMBAI, INDIA — Full-service agency FCB Group India has announced the launch of ‘She Can She Will,’ a new platform for conversations and content around women in leadership and access to inspiring role models.

‘She Can She Will’ will be a series of fireside chats, panel discussions, knowledge-building, and inspirational sessions where women managers will have the opportunity to gain from the experiences and wisdom of women achievers from the corporate world. These will be held every quarter in different cities to open up knowledge across all sectors and encourage dialogue on topics relevant to growth and leadership for women.

The initiative kickstarted in Delhi with a chat on ‘Women in Leadership- navigating through different stages of the climb, across different stages of life’ with Sapna Chadha, vice president marketing, India, South East Asia & South Asia, Google and Rashi Narang, founder, Heads Up For Tails.

Chadha has built a formidable career navigating many multinational and high-octane organizations. Narang has built a formidable business and a much-admired brand in India’s entrepreneurial showcase. Both have priceless experiences that could help ignite and inspire women to navigate their journeys better.

Speaking about this initiative, Chadha, a relentless evangelist in creating a better support environment for Women in Leadership, said, “I am so impressed with FCB’s lean in and launch of ‘Women for Women’ and the fireside chat concept of She Can She Will. Talks like this are critical to supporting women given our shared experiences. The acknowledgment that FCB has made as a leadership team and organisation to the very real problem that exists in advertising today is inspiring. They say that ‘a woman with a voice is by definition a strong woman.’ At Google, we believe in the power of providing voices to women through information, access, and equity, and we look forward to continuing to partner with FCB in this shared journey.”

Narang, a believer in championing workplaces that are inclusive, accepting, and rewarding, said, “I believe women have been championing causes, paving the way for a better world since time immemorial. As a woman, it is my honor and duty to play my role with full diligence and responsibility, ensuring we all rise together at work and in my daily life.”

Debarpita Banerjee, CEO, FCB India, a champion for the cause, moderated this fireside chat. She added, “Post the pandemic, we as an industry have lost a lot of women workforce to the demands of domesticity. Now that we are coming out of this phase, there is a dire need to infuse fresh energy and inspiration into the environment, to help women find their feet back, or get their growth plans back on track.”

The FCB Group India, as part of its DE&I Strategy, is committed to not just ensuring gender balance in its ranks but also building its female talent for future leadership roles. As Women For Women gains momentum across cities, this will be thrown open to the industry at large and become a go-to place for real-life guidance for the next generation of women leaders.
