THE PERFUME OF SHARED HAPPINESS

Launched in 2012, La vie est belle is Lancôme’s free and fulfilling feminine fragrance. Fronted by Julia Roberts, the iconic scent offers females a new vision of happiness.

In 2012, Julia Roberts invited us to liberate ourselves from conventions in order to find happiness. In this new movie – La vie est belle – set on the Trocadero esplanade of Paris, Julia Roberts, with her iconic smile, encourages us to share happiness.

La vie est belle is positioned as more than a fragrance, and as a choice to make one’s life more beautiful. Its case was inspired by an Armand Petitjean’s idea, dating back to 1949, to capture the smile of women the heart of a bottle, as carved in the crystal.

BEHIND THE SCENE

This chapter was shot in the legendary Universal Studios in Los Angeles, directed by Bruno Aveillan, award-winning French visual artist.

The first broadcast of the film launches in France on 26 August, across TV and digital, then press from 29 August. The campaign is due to launch in the US in September and Asia in November 2018.
