Campaign Spotlight: Titan’s Mechanicals celebrates the spirit of self-driven and motivated individuals, who move the world around them wherever they go

MUMBAI, INDIA — With the festive fervor setting in, Titan launches a TVC cum digital film showcasing their Mechanicals range, an exquisite collection of men’s and women’s Mechanical watches. Titan’s mechanical watches are a product of fine craftsmanship and intense engineering processes. The film is an ode to the self-motivated individuals whose inner energy can change the world around them.

The film presents a countryside scene where a girl is seen riding a bicycle on a scenic road. As she is riding, the cycle starts to wobble and stops. A young man riding his bicycle crosses past her, and notices the girl trying to fix her broken bicycle. The guy reaches out to her for help, finds a metal wire from the nearby field and tries fixing her bicycle. As he is working, the girl is seen smiling behind him, impressed by his efforts. He fixes her bicycle by seamlessly joining the front wheel of his bicycle with the back wheel of her bicycle. The next shot showcases both of them riding together, similar to a tandem cycle.


As it concludes, the film showcases the beautiful correlation of how the guy came up with this idea of tying together both the cycles, resulting in the beautiful rhythm of the wheels of cycles. The film closes with a shot of them cheerfully riding, followed by a zoomed shot of the Titan Mechanical watch.

Sharing his thoughts on this campaign, Sirish Chandrashekar, Marketing Head, Titan Watches, said, “Mechanical watches as a cluster has been growing well for us in the premium watches segment. We’ve seen increased interest especially among younger consumers, for mechanical watches. Having arguably the best selection of mechanical watches across different looks we want to capitalize on this opportunity through a focused 360 degree marketing campaign.”

Speaking about the campaign Mahesh Gharat, Chief Creative Officer, Ogilvy South said, “The Mechanical watch is a self-driven piece of machinery. It needs no battery. A simple winding mechanism or just movement of the wrist makes this machine tick. This was our inspiration. The beauty of one thing leading to many, the opening up of a world of possibilities in a simple elegant fashion.”
