MANILA, PHILIPPINES – Linya-Linya celebrates this year’s Pride Month with an animated short film about love, and all its forms. The local retail brand and its team of content creators have been very active in pushing for several advocacies across local arts & literature, music, mental health, and education, and Pride is no different.
Showing support to the LGBTQIA+ community and promoting diversity, equality, love, and unity, the short features a poem narrated by writer and spoken word artist Juan Miguel Severo, written by Linya-Linya Creative Head Ali Sangalang, scored by Linya-Linya Managing Director Jim Bacarro, and produced by Highball Studios and Studio V.
Along with the animated short, Linya-Linya also released a “Bahagi ka ng Bahaghari” (“You are part of the rainbow”) limited edition shirt, which benefits the non-profit organization LoveYourself PH. 10% of sales will go directly to the org to help them with their initiatives. LoveYourself PHis a community of volunteers that believes that by embracing and nurturing our self-worth, we inspire others to do the same and create ripples of positive change in the community.
