Bharad Ramesh joins Starcom Mediavest Group in dual-capacity regional role

Singapore – Starcom MediaVest Group (SMG) has announced the appointment of Bharad Ramesh to the position of Regional Executive Director, Strategic Operations and Trading, Asia, as the network continues to expand and bolster its talent pool in the region.
 
In this dual-capacity role, Ramesh will oversee both the enhancement of SMG’s working processes on multinational clients such as Procter & Gamble, as well as leverage agency size to capitalise on trading opportunities in the marketplace across the spectrum of its clients in the region. Ramesh will be reporting to both Jaswinder Kaur, Regional Managing Director, Starcom MediaVest Group, on the operations front, and Jeffrey Seah, CEO, Starcom MediaVest Group on trading responsibilities. 
 
“We are always on the lookout for multi-skilled talent, and the addition of Bharad will undoubtedly add breadth and depth to the regional leadership team in Starcom MediaVest Group” said Kaur. “I’m confident the varied experience he brings to the fore will propel us even further, and faster to continue to build stronger operations in our markets for the overall benefit of our key clients in the region”, she added. 
 
In his new role as Strategic Operations lead, Ramesh will focus on driving stronger integration of SMG’s suite of proprietary applications to deliver increased efficiencies and talent productivity across markets, as well as evolve the agency’s operational processes and systems to respond quicker to the changing needs of SMG’s multinational clients. In his trading role, Ramesh will leverage on his vast experience in driving deeper relationships with media partners through designing and executing negotiation strategies that seek to deliver value and innovation to SMG’s clients across all media.  
 
Ramesh joins SMG armed with a decade of experience, honed from having worked in major markets such as China, India, the US, and most recently as Deputy Managing Director at Mindshare Singapore. With a keen understanding of emerging media technologies, Ramesh’s experience is strongly grounded in managing complexities in buying operations as well as in creating clout by consolidating agency’s assets. An acknowledged thought leader, Ramesh has in the course of his career, been instrumental in being a change-agent for the agencies he previously worked for.
