DDB Group Singapore makes six key creative hires

SINGAPORE – DDB Group Singapore has hired six new creatives in line with its business growth on Johnson & Johnson, Unilever, and other key clients, as the agency adds on creative firepower for its integrated marketing solutions.

Luis Fabra joins as Associate Creative Director (Art). He started his career in Barcelona before moving to Singapore in 2012. A multiple award-winning creative at Cannes and Spikes, Luis will work on the Johnson & Johnson account.

Josh Armstrong joins as Associate Creative Director (Copy) on Unilever. Starting his career at The Campaign Palace in Melbourne, he joined Draft FCB and Lowe Singapore before joining DDB.

Malhaar Rao joins as Associate Creative Group Head (Copy) on the Johnson & Johnson team. He has worked previously at Ogilvy and BBH in Mumbai, SS+K in New York and MGMB in Singapore. Malhaar has developed integrated and digital campaigns for clients like Google, Red Bull and Vat 69, among others.

Adithya Deepan joins the team from Malaysia as Associate Creative Group Head (Art) on Johnson & Johnson. An art director with over nine years of experience in digital advertising and design, he has worked at Grey, Saatchi & Saatchi Arachnid, Publicis, and McCann. Adithya has worked on brands like BMW MINI, Tiger Beer, Proton, Reckitt Benckiser, Nestle, and Subway.

Junqi Liao comes on board as a copywriter on Johnson & Johnson. With over four years of experience in advertising, she previously worked at Dentsu Singapore on Canon, Uniqlo, Land Transport Authority and the Singapore Navy. Junqi was a finalist at Cannes and Spikes this year for her work on Canon Instazoom.

Megha Ramesh joins the Unilever account as a copywriter. She has over eight years of experience in DDB Mudra, Draftfcb + Ulka and Happy in Bangalore, India. She has worked on categories ranging from fashion, FMCG and e-commerce. 

DDB in Singapore, which is also the regional hub for DDB Asia, has made strong growth with its MNC clients led by regional business head Wang Nai Yen, integrated creative director Vinod Savio and regional planning head Carlos Palacios.
