PHILIPPINES – Beach bums were intrigued by a mechanical bull set up in the middle of Summerplace, Boracay. The mechanical bull ride, the first of its kind to hit the shores of the island, was part of Jack TV’s annual summer event, “Island Jack”, in partnership with Red Bull Energy Drink and its media agency, PHD Philippines.
The attraction which caught the attention of hundreds of beach-goers who wanted to mount the bull. All it took was a single purchase of the energy drink before anyone can be a cowboy (or cowgirl) for all of three minutes. Special prizes were given to participants who were able to withstand the raging bull. The entire day went on filled with games and other booth activities.
“We’re more than happy to have witnessed the success of this endeavor, clearly the mechanical bull ride was the perfect choice of activity to represent the brand, and the fact that it was a first in Bora, adds up to the joy we feel,” said Kenn Reyes, Red Bull’s events Manager.
